Dr. Kramer obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Glassboro State College in New Jersey. He attended Temple Medical School and subsequently his residency in Neurology at the Pennsylvania Hospital. He complemented his training with a sub-specialty Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Neuro-Oncology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania in 1990.
While in training, Dr. Kramer worked for several months with Fred Hochberg, M.D. at The Massachusetts General Hospital and spent another three months at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington D.C.
Dr. Eric D. Kramer
He collaborated with researchers at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia where together they pioneered monoclonal antibody treatment for brain tumors. As a young attending physician Dr. Kramer became the Division Head of Neurology at Cooper Hospital for a faculty group associated with the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. (now Rowan Medical School) in New Jersey for 6 years.
Currently Dr. Kramer serves as the Division Head of Neurology for the Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches. He holds the title of Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. He has previously served as the Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at the JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Florida.
Dr. Kramer is a founding partner at JEM Research Institute in Atlantis, Florida. He has served as a Principal Investigator on numerous clinical trials in the fields of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathic pain. This history and experience has allowed Dr. Kramer to be at the forefront of innovative medical treatment and drug development across any number of areas in neurology.
