Rosemarie De Manna

Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operations Officer

Rosemarie De Manna has been in the research industry for over 14 years. She has been with JEM Research since 2008. She began her research career at a women’s health research facility as the Executive and Regulatory assistant.  She joined JEM as the Operations Director/Regulatory Specialists then later as the Site Director and has now transitioned to the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Kyle Gordon, BA, CCRC

Financial Operations/Human Resources

Kyle Gordon has been in the research industry for 9 years. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and has been with JEM Research since inception in 2008. She manages Financial Operations and Human Resources. Prior to working for JEM Research, she worked in the financial industry for Merrill Lynch. There she worked as a financial consultant and as a Human Resource Manager.

Marisa Arena

Front Desk Administrator

Marisa Arena has worked in the medical industry for over 20 years and joined JEM Research Institute in 2018.

Elizabeth Sheldon, ARNP

Nurse Practitioner / Principal Investigator / Sub-Investigator

Elizabeth Sheldon obtained her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2010. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. Elizabeth practiced in both Psychiatry and Women’s Health before joining JEM in 2017. She is a Sub-Investigator for all clinical trials conducted by JEM Research.

Jayne Drew, CCRP

Regulatory Coordinator

Jayne Drew has been in the research industry for over 14 years working in Regulatory for Ethics Committees, hospitals and dedicated research sites. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional and has been with JEM Research since 2015. She manages regulatory for all JEM trials.

Belinda Russell

Project Specialist & QA/QC Coordinator

Belinda Russell has worked in clinical research for over 19 years. Her passion for research started in Regulatory Affairs in 2001 when she was fortunate to work on a clinical trial for a drug that later gained FDA approval for Alzheimer's disease. She is an experienced Research Coordinator having worked on trials for Alzheimer's disease and stroke.  Her passion for research continues today with her work in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and as a Community Physician Liaison. Hobbies include spending time with family and running.

Claudia Pascua, BS, CCRC

Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Supervisor

Claudia Pascua has been in the research industry for over 27 years. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and Certified Phlebotomist.  She graduated with a science degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she began her career as a Clinical Research Coordinator and transitioned into a Clinical Trials Administrator.  Claudia is currently the Clinical Research Coordinator Supervisor at JEM Research Institute, where she has been a staff member since 2011.

Janette Bossaers, BA, CCRP

Clinical Research Coordinator

Janette Bossaers has been working in the research industry since 1997. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Florida International University and holds certification in Phlebotomy and IV infusions. She is also a Certified Clinical Research Professional with the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).  Janette has been with JEM Research Institute since 2014 where she manages studies in Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.

Marilyn Ocampo, CCRC, MA

Certified Clinical Research Coordinator

Marilyn Ocampo has been in the research industry for over 10 years and has been with JEM Research since 2015. Marilyn is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, received her Medical Assistant degree in 1996, currently working toward her RN degree and holds a certification for IV infusions. She manages studies in Alzheimer’s disease, Osteoarthritis and low back pain.

Valerie Nevins, CCRC

Certified Clinical Research Coordinator

Valerie Nevins has been in the research industry for over 8 years. She received her Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Professional designation in 2012, is currently certified for performing IV infusions and joined JEM Research in 2016. She manages studies in Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.

Jessica Chacon

Clinical Research Coordinator

Jessica Chacon has been in the medical field for 18 years and working in clinical research for 7 years. Ms. Chacon is a trained medical assistant and certified Phlebotomist. She manages studies in Osteoarthritis and low back pain and joined the JEM team in 2017.

Julie Andrew, RN, CCRC

Certified Clinical Research Coordinator

Julie has been working in the medical industry for over 20 years with experience in oncology, orthopedics and nephrology.  She joined the research industry in 2004 and has been a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals since 2011 and has worked with JEM Research for 6 years.

Kristina Feyler

Clinical Research Coordinator

Kristina Feyler has been in the medical field for 18 years and working in clinical research for 14 years. Ms. Feyler is trained in diagnostic medical sonography and has managed studies in Women's health, cardiology, and Alzheimer's disease. Kristina joined JEM Research in May 2019.

Kimberly Casas, RMA

Clinical Research Assistant/Laboratory Technician

Kimberly Casas has been in the medical industry for over 6 years and is currently working toward her RN degree. She is a Registered Medical Assistant, holds certification in Phlebotomy & IV infusions and has been with JEM Research since 2016.

Magdalena Burgos

Clinical Research Assistant/Laboratory Technician

Magdalena (Maggie) Burgos has been in the medical field for over 26 years. She has worked in research since 2013 and holds certification in Phlebotomy and IV infusion. Maggie has been a part of JEM Research since April 2019.

Mara Bailey, PsyD

Study Rater

Dr. Mara Bailey has over 10 years of experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological testing and a clinical background in the treatment of various psychological disorders, including, major depressive disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychotic disorder, substance use disorders, developmental disorders, and neurological disorders in children, adolescents and adults.

She obtained her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She also obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Dr. Bailey has an extensive history in research and joined JEM Research Institute in 2018 as a Clinical Rater.

Victoria Barnett, PsyD

Study Rater

Dr. Victoria Barnett is a licensed clinical psychologist who has over 20 years’ experience in clinical research and psychotherapy with the geriatric population.  Dr. Barnett obtained her Masters of Science in 1993 and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D) at Nova Southeastern University in 1998.  She completed clinical internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System specializing in neuropsychology and behavioral medicine and post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship at Miami Jewish Health Systems.  Dr. Barnett has since been working as a neuropsychologist and actively involved in many clinical Alzheimer’s Dementia trials.  She joined the team at JEM Research in 2015 as a study rater.

Anna Lisa Curtis, BA

Study Rater

Anna Lisa Curtis is a certified psychometrician who has been working in the field of clinical research for more than 10 years.  As a cognitive interventionist, she designed the Brain's Gain Workshop for Florida Atlantic University's Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center to help individuals make lifestyle changes for their brain health.  Anna Lisa is also a Master Gardener, certified yoga instructor and public speaker.   

Julie Davidson, RN, BSN, CCM

Study Rater

Julie Davidson is a Registered Nurse with a broad background in healthcare, and in working with patients with dementia.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and BA in Psychology, and is certified in case management. Julie has also woked for pharmaceutical companies in screening subjects for drug trials, as well as in Drug Safety to handle adverse effects and medical device reporting. Julie joined JEM Research Institute in 2019 as a Study Rater.

Trisha Benedict-Somich, PharmD

Trisha Benedict-Somich has been a Pharmacist for 17 years and has been with JEM Research since 2011.

Tatyana Kogan, PharmD

Pharmacist

Tatyana Kogan has been a Pharmacist for over 10 years and has been with JEM Research since 2015.

Christiane Rothenberg, PharmD

Pharmacist

Christiane Rothenberg received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. During her education, she pursued the goal to enhance her knowledge in the fields of pharmacogenomics by engaging in various extra curriculum research opportunities. Throughout her professional experience, she has elected to work mostly with the elderly population to provide pharmaceutical care to patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's disease at the VA hospital and Delray Medical Center. She is equally passionate about life and her profession, and desires to make a positive impact. She has worked as a Pharmacist for JEM Research Institute since 2016.
